"Careers at the Coal Face"

Conference Dinner venue: Premier Function Centre, Traralgon
The local outfit featuring a power company HR manager and a music teacher from the local TAFE, "Cool Change", played hits from the 50s - 00s and kept the crowd dancing for 2 hours.
CEAV President, Bernadette Gigliotti, led a celebratory toast to retiring CEAV members, Linda Booth (Gisborne SC, CEAV committee member, national VETnetwork committee member and local careers group president), Peter Lynch (Wonthaggi SC and careers veteran of 30 years) and Dianne Phillips (in absentia) who was president of her local careers group and head of careers at Ballarat HS.
Over 240 delegates attended and over 120 presenters addressed delegates in keynotes, industry tours, Industry Panels and workshops. The CEAV February Newsjournal will contain a number of session summaries. Information will also be posted on the website. The Tony Watts keynote is available for downloading, as is the Liz Schneyder address.
