Natalie Portman and Lisa Kudrow star in this drama about a young woman who marries her boss after their affair breaks apart his first marriage, and finds it difficult to connect with her young stepson when a tragedy almost breaks her world apart. An up and coming young lawyer, Emelia (Natalie Portman) finds herself falling for her new boss, Jack (Scott Cohen), and an affair evolves into a tricky situation as Jack’s marriage becomes a casualty, and Emelia falls pregnant. Jack takes Emelia as his second wife, to the disgust of his ex, Carolyn (Lisa Kudrow), whose bitterness does not spare either of them. Emelia struggles to make a connection with Jack and Carolyn’s son William (Charlie Tahan), but when tragedy befalls her newborn daughter, her relationship with both William and Jack deteriorates, threatening to send her over the edge.

The voices of Selena Gomez and Freddie Highmore star in director Luc Besson’s third installment of the adventures of Arthur, the human boy turned into a tiny Minimoy, who must return to his full size to outwit the evil Maltazard and his son Darkos.   Arthur (Freddie Highmore), the former human boy transformed into a two inch high Minimoy, struggles with the help of Princess Selenia (Selena Gomez) and Betameche (Jimmy Fallon) to return to himself after Maltazard (Lou Reed) destroys the telescope which has allowed him to grow to human size. As a supertall Minimoy, Maltazard plans to recruit a team of similarly sized offsiders to help him in his quest to control all the humans in the town, but Arthur races him to obtain the enlarging elixir which is his last hope to change back into a boy. When the group talk Maltazard’s son Darkos (Iggy Pop) into changing sides to help the Minimoys instead of his father, it seems that they might just have a chance of winning the war.

Michael Paré and Jackson Pace star in this family adventure about a family relocating from a small rural town to an apartment in New York who have to leave their German Shepherd behind, but the resourceful and clever dog has other ideas.   Dean (Michael Paré) and his new partner Laura (Christa Campbell) decide to relocate with Dean’s son Jimmy (Jackson Pace) from small town Louisiana to a New York apartment, leaving behind the place Jimmy grew up with its memories of Jimmy’s mother. The young boy is even more distraught when he learns that his beloved dog Rainey is not allowed to make the trip with them, as the apartment will not allow pets. He bids a sad farewell to Rainey when he leaves him in the care of a pet trainer at the state fair, who Rainey soon eludes to run away towards New York. The clever pooch manages to travel thousands of miles and find his owner, but the landlords of their apartment (Jen Kubler and David Jensen) prove to be quite a challenge to outwit - but outwit them Rainey will!

Heath Ledger, in his feature film debut, and Simon Lyndon star in this AFI®-nominated drama, based on a true story about a young man torn by loyalty to his friends after a teenager is raped and murdered.   Young surfer Jared (Laurence Breuls) is elated when his friend Ricko (Simon Lyndon), a surfing champion, returns home to their seaside suburb that he hosts a party for him at the local club. With everyone in various states of inebriation, Jared witnesses a young girl, Tracey (Bojana Novakovic), having sex with a boy named Toby (Heath Ledger) before later seeing her being raped by several youths, but is incapable of doing or saying anything. After the party, Jared’s girlfriend Rachel (Jessica Napier) comes across Tracey’s battered body on the beach, sparking an investigation that sees several young men questioned. In death, Tracey is blamed as having put herself in a risky situation, while Jared is shocked to learn that his idol, Ricko, is responsible, but insists it was an accident. While trying to deal with his own guilt at not speaking up about the rape, Jared is faced with the ugly truth and realises that he has finally run out of choices.
