CENTRE GEORGES POMPIDOU
is a 5 story high-tech building of steel and glass containing the Museum of Modern Art, the Public Library, a Centre for Computer Music, Film Archives, Cinema, Dance and Children's Workshops, and a Restaurant.

NOTRE DAME
1163-1345 Supreme Gothic Masterpiece with 226 foot Towers, it was restored from 1841-1864 by Viollet-le-duc and its Rose Windows have remained intact from the 13th century.
It can accommodate 9000 people and is a supreme masterpiece of French Art

PALAIS DU LUXEMBOURG 1615-1631 was built for Marie de Medici after her husband Henri IV died, in 1793 became a prison, and in 1804 was remodelled to house the French Upper House (the Senate) in 1804. The front is by Alphonse de Gisors was added in 1836
