Flexible Solar Panel - Solar Battery Charging

I recently spent four weeks away down the west coast of Tasmania.  I was able to keep the batteries charged for 3 people for the following items - using a flexible solar panel, 12 volt battery (as a reservoir when clouds pass over) and a regulator.

During the four weeks we charged batteries for the following -

Sony video camera, Sony digital still camera, Nikon digital camera, lots of NiMh AA and AAA batteries, Canon S40 digital camera, Ericsson satellite phone batteries, 12 volt bilge pump batteries, Nokia CDMA phone batteries

The panel connects to the regulator - which also connects with the 12 Volt battery and the appliance to be charged, eg satellite phone.
